Emmanuel Jouthe

Artistic Director and Choreographer
Before dedicating himself entirely to his choreographic approach, Emmanuel Jouthe began his career as a dancer where he developed his bodily sensitivity and his desire to share his lived experiences with others. Emmanuel became the artistic director of the company in 1999, and since then has expanded its repertoire with a number of pieces and cultural mediation projects. In these projects, he allows himself to explore the range of scenic territories and different ways of bringing spectators and dance closer. He is now one of Quebec’s renowned choreographic artists. In his prolific artistic approach, he is always in search of new challenges and does not hesitate to initiate new collaborations with emerging artists who inspire him to broaden the field of possibilities.
