This spring, creation, outreach, and transmission intersect at the heart of our activities, bringing us many meaningful encounters.
The project FUTURS RÉCIPROQUES returns to bring together seniors and teenagers through dance and their visions of the future. A new edition is taking shape in Longueuil, in partnership with L’Accorderie.
Our new project PORTRAITS PERMÉABLES, a reimagining of our repertory work SUITES PERMÉABLES, evolves through its encounter with teenagers who actively enrich the research in the studio. Developed in collaboration with the Centre Lasallien and Le Cube, the project takes the form of workshops and studio exploration periods that intertwine in order to recreate the piece with and for young participants.
And that’s not all! In April, Emmanuel Jouthe will travel to Portugal to create an in situ version of our repertory work VEGA with local performers in professional training. This project will lead to two performances from May 6 to 9, as part of the 15th edition of the Spring Forward Festival in Guimarães. This initiative is made possible thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Danse sur les routes du Québec, and the Aerowaves network.
