The company is pleased to officially welcome Gaëlle Descary as Director, following three months serving as Interim Executive Director, and looks forward to the continuation of this collaboration.
The PROMENADES INTÉRIEURES workshop series, offered in collaboration with partner organization Projet Changement and supported by the New Horizons program and the Caisse Desjardins du Plateau–Mont-Royal, has recently come to a close. Intended for seniors who are victims or witnesses of abuse, this sensitive initiative culminated in a photo exhibition presented at Projet Changement’s offices, highlighting traces of the process experienced by the participants.
At the same time, the BONHEUR project continues its development through a creation residency. Guided by our choreographer and artistic director Emmanuel Jouthe, the performers further explore this long-form work through a practice rooted in presence, slowness, and subtlety.
The company also carried out the mediation project DE SILENCE at the Centre Lasallien, working with adolescents who have recently arrived in Quebec. Through an approach combining dance and poetry, participants were physically prepared for attentive listening using movement-based games and beanbags, fostering focus, self-awareness, connection with others, and an encounter with the texts of a Quebec poet.
